About us
For Marco and Lucia Lazzeretti, of Montalcino, wine is much more than a job, it is a way of life. Every bottle reflects their daily efforts, seasons spent in the vineyard, and a dedication to quality that demands focus, patience, and absolute respect for the passage of time.
Since 2001, they have produced Brunello using a purely artisanal approach that takes no shortcuts. In the vineyard and in the cellar alike, every decision is made by them personally, with the aim of authentically expressing the character of the Sangiovese grape and the distinct terroir that makes it Brunello.

Where Sangiovese becomes Brunello
Immersed in the quiet of the Sienese hills, just a few kilometres from the medieval town of Montalcino, the Lazzeretti winery is a sanctuary where time seems to stand still.
In the tasting room, oak barrels frame an ancient fountain, while outside, the Sangiovese vineyards stretch out towards the Val d’Orcia.

Among the medieval streets of Montalcino, Lucia welcomes guests to the family wine shop. It’s a warm and informal space where you can purchase wines directly from the estate, receive expert pairing tips, and discover the intimate story behind every bottle. The Enoteca is the natural extension of our cellar, a place where wine meets people.
